Constant collaborators Will Arnett and Jason Bateman teamed up with Morgan Spurlock, director of documentaries such as Super Size Me and 30 Days, to find out what it takes to be both handome and manly. Or as they put it, “mansome” . The movie will also feature the likes of Zach Galifianakis, Paul Rudd and Adam Carolla. Watch the trailer here:

This morning, my four year old, Collin handed me a “book” that he had made.  He has been very crafty lately and coming up with things on his own to build and make.  This time, he had used scotch tape to connect 4 sheets of notebook paper end to end.  He said he had made me a book but he couldn’t write in it and asked me if I would write for him. He pointed to the corner one of the sheets and said “Daddy, write ‘I love Jesus’ right here” and when I was done he carefully moved his hand down the same page in the margin and said “now write ‘I love God’ right here”  

It’s as simple as that.  A four page book constructed by a four year old that says two simple sentences that will remind me, at least for the next few days, that as many times as it seems like I’ve failed regarding certain issues of parenting, Collin has absorbed two very important principles.  I love Jesus, and I love God.

Last year, human traffickers profited over $32 billion; that’s more than Nike, Google, and Starbucks combined.

And I get mad because the house isn’t clean when I get home, or my kids aren’t perfect angels all the time….It’s time that I woke up and realized how blessed I am and be thankful for it.  Not time to just say thank you to God, but to live and be happy and not take things for granted and not sweat the small stuff.
